My Parents Visit!

My Dad had a conference in Baltimore, which is only an hour and a half away, so my Mom decided to fly out with him and visit us. The first night they drove the hour and a half to our house and then drove back, after they had already spent the day traveling. While here my Mom started reacting to our cat (we hadn't known that she was that allergic). They made the drive again the next evening, took us to dinner, and then my dad dropped my Mom off at a nearby hotel so that we could spend time together the next day. After getting the kids to bed my Mom and I hung out at the hotel chatting and laughing together. She would have stayed with us, but it turns out that she is VERY allergic to our cat. The next day we went out and found Halloween costumes for the kids (and came up with Rob and I's cheesy costumes). That evening I returned my mom to my dad in Baltimore and enjoyed more chatting time on the way up.
