Mom and Dad Visit and the Beautiful Bench

My parents journeyed from the land of the Ohio to bring me a beautiful, custom made outdoor bench and storage chest. The kids toys were often strewn about the yard with no particular home, which drove me nuts. When my dad asked me if there were any particular wood furniture piece I "might" want as a gift I knew exactly what I wanted, and the end result was this outdoor storage bench:

Many long hours were spent on this awesome piece.

They ended staying a couple of days and we had time for some excursion

Grandpa (and somewhat Asher) built a tower while I and my Mom went running shoe shopping.

Yep, Air and Space Museum again. My dad worked on the B1 Bomber when I was a little girl so I knew he would find this particular museum interesting. I was right. Do you know what an airplane or helicopter pitot tube is?

We also enjoyed a bike ride Friday morning and a trip to Great Harvest Bread Store. Yummy!
