Another combined post to update the blog.
Trying again to train the kids to do all the cooking for me. Looks like they are making pretty good headway.
Puerto Rico
Rob had another week-long trip to Puerto Rico to supervise a concrete pour on a bridge on Federal property. You'd think I would be jealous and I was of the views, but standing in a bug and heat infested forest, with no chance to swim, does not sound relaxing.
The view: Rob didn't get a chance to swim.Baseball with daddy

Showing off his strong muscles and curly hair (which we chopped the next day)
Asher graduated to a bigger bike! He is used to his balance bike so we think his stint with training wheels will be of a short duration.

Playing in a tent together
Here's Rob installing a new water heater after ours broke. I now re-appreciate the ease of which hot water is available. The kids loved the big box and packaging.
I was released from my calling as R.S. Weekday Activity Coordinator (yes, a very long title which should somehow be officially shortened) and was asked to serve as a Wolf Cub Scout Leader. Yipee! Back in Cub Scouts. Previously I have served as a Webelos and Bear leader and have now completed the circle. The below picture is of a bridge that Rob built about 5 years ago (when he also served in Cub Scouts) which is still in use when boys "cross over" to Boy Scouts.
Jacqueline eating dirt (a common occurrence)Asher riding in his "dragon boat". He insisted that we needed face masks.
Asher "playing" a song and Jacqueline helping
Jacqueline loves to crinkle her nose
Silly Asher
Testing our loads for a 225 bike camping trip Rob and I hope to complete in May
That's all for now folks!
