There are times to be a cheap-skate and times not to be!

Unfortunately I do not have a picture to show you but I dyed my hands black as midnight yesterday. When we bought our new printer it came with a pack of free individual ink cartridges, but the included black cartridge did not fit. So I decided to take the ink from the non-fitting cartridge and place it into the old cartridge. It went all over my hands despite taking careful precautions to limit spills (my astute husband suggested placing a plate below so it did not end up dying the white counter black). So that you know, alcohol, vinegar, lemon juice and hand soap will not remove black computer ink, the only thing that will work is a diluted solution of bleach. Remnants remain under four fingernails and their cuticles despite a two-hour washing period and additional washings. Moral of the story: There are times to be a cheap-skate and times not to be.
