The Hinman clan loved the last reunion in Outer Banks so much that we all decided to do it again.
We started off the week celebrating Heidi's birthday.
 |
| Rob decorated Heidi with party streamers through her earrings. A big brother is always a big brother. |
There was some concern about sharks because there had been an attack 30 miles down the coast but fortunately this was the only shark we saw.
Grandma and Grandpa Hinman brought back some gifts for the kids from their to Peru. The kids loved their toucans and coatis.
The Corolla area had a great nature center that we spent a few hours at.
 |
| No sharks but we did see a bear. |
 |
| Uncle Rob assisted a nature center employee with a game of sharks and minnows that taught the kids about habitats. |
The Beach. Ah, the beach. I could have spent everyday here. Relaxing, uncrowded, perfect temperatures. Perfection.
The kids's beloved "ocean river" was back. This allowed the kids to play in shallow and calmer water.

James spent most of his time sleeping in a bouncer. He is now two months and 2 weeks old.

| Can you tell I'm lovin' the beach? |
Mom and Dad treated us all to an adventurous Wild Horse tour. Seeing the wild horses was really neat, but the ride on the back of the truck was the best! Wind blowing in our faces, a bumpy ride with beautiful scenery. It was one of Rob's top highlights of the trip. Awesome!

One of my favorite moments was when all the adults sat together on a balcony, talking and watching a beautiful lightning storm.
The pool was great! When the adults wanted a break one or two adults would watch while the kids played in the pool and everyone else would sleep, read, etc.
 |
| Cousin Emma would read to the kids. |
Bye Outer Banks. We love you. Thanks for another great family reunion!
