January Home Life Part 1

Some of the things we've been doing in January 2015!

We built a castle out of blocks, once, and the blocks have usually
been used as parts for vehicles and weapons since then

Yup, we carved a pumpkin in January

Our pumpkin dubbed Casper by Asher

We decorated a gingerbread house and men two days after carving a pumpkin

Jacqueline has been driving me crazy because she constantly pulls down my kitchen towels to use as a blanket for her baby doll. I had the inspired thought to whip up a couple of doll blanket and let the kids color them with fabric markers. The idea worked. Voila! No more pulled towels and the kids love the personalized blankets. If Jacqueline starts to grab a towel I just ask her to go look for her baby's blanket and she does so.
