Familycation to Utah (Part 3/3)

After the visit with Grandma and Grandpa Jordan we headed back to Heidi's house to and went on a number of great day excursions and then enjoyed adult chats in the evening when kids were in bed.

Museum of Natural Curiosity
A museum designed for kids where everyone is encouraged to touch and explore. Asher still asks to go back to the museum where he can "touch everything".
Jason and Asher climbing. Mom and Dad Hinman visiting below.
Jason, Heidi, and Asher
Flying a real airplane suspended from the ceiling 80 or so feet from the floor.
The only way to reach it is through rope climbing.
View from top of bungee cord maze.
You move aside the cords to reach the floor about 7 layers of cord below.
Looking into one layer of bungee cord maze
Even Jacqueline ventured the heights
Jason and Asher rock climbing
Jason and Jacqueline chasing prey like a cheetah
(the red light quickly moves around the lighted square pad)
Jason and Jacqueline experimenting with water pressure
Jacqueline did NOT enjoy the wind tunnel
Making friends with a bear
An obedience plant. If my kids eat this are my troubles over?
I kind of threw a little temper tantrum when it was time to leave this awesome museum. We needed to meet my sister in law's father and brother for dinner and it was time to go. Asher and I hope to visit again someday!

Aquarium
The next day we all headed to a great aquarium that just opened up.
Chatting with ducks?
Trying to convince Asher to pet the stingray
Cute picture of Jason and Heidi at the aquarium
Watching penguins
Shark resting on tunnel
Jacqueline and stingray
The family in the mouth of a shark. Jacqueline doesn't seem to mind.
Rob about to "eat" a rainbow trout
Jason and Asher enjoying a bubble view (they also enjoyed screaming in it)
A late lunch after the aquarium was enjoyed at a place called Waffle Love, where they serve sugar-coated waffles. More of a desert then lunch but still so yummy!

Duck Pond
While Heidi, Mom and Dad made dinner one night, Rob and I kept entertained the kids and took them to a duck pond close to Heidi's house.
Jacqueline taking the easy rid
The bravest duck explores for bread first.
Boys and ducks = boys chasing ducks.
Cute daddy daughter shot
Thanks for the great times Heidi, Jason, Mom and Dad!

Well, the familycation is over. We survived the flights home and friend Janna brought us safely back to our house. Fun times!
