C&O Canal Bike Adventure- The Extra Day and Photos of Kids While We Were Gone

Since we ended up coming home sooner then expected we were able to hang out with my in-laws before they had to head home on Saturday. We visited some of Mom's haunts in the Seven Corners and Fairfax, VA area where she lived as a girl. She was able to walk through the house she had lived in while in middle school, visit the park and pool she had played in, walk into her old high school and walk the perimeter of the church building she attended when she became a member of the church. Fun for us to now have visuals in our minds when she tells stories from her years in this area.

While we were gone the kids LOVED having their grandparents watch them.

Mom and Dad took the kids swimming everyday. Previously Asher had been afraid of the water... no longer true! Jacqueline seemed to have no fear.

 Thanks for coming to watch the kids Mom and Dad! Rob and I REALLY appreciate it and Asher still asks when you are coming back. Jacqueline becomes excited when she sees pictures of you. Hopefully we move closer to you someday so the kids can grow up knowing you better.
