Circus

Now that Asher is a little bit older, we thought he'd appreciate the circus more and one of the groups performing was the Shaolin warriors, some highly trained, incredible monks that Rob had a great interest in seeing. Maybe we'll make the circus a yearly tradition while we are in Northern Virginia...? Like last time, some of the pictures aren't the best, but they'll bring back memories for us.

Shaolin Warriors (there's a tip on the end of both spears)
Rebar that the warrior bent around his neck!
How would you like to be in a cage full of tigers and lions?
Are they applauding, or showing claws?
 Laying down on the job
There were many more acts of talent and awe, but we rarely remembered to pull out the camera to take a picture. We also saw tightrope walkers, 8 motorcycles in one small ball wheeling around at top speed, dog, horse and elephant tricks, dancers, and clown acts among the many.
