Hurricane Sandy Cleanup

Rob and 180 people from out Stake spent Thanksgiving weekend assisting homeowners with Hurricane Sandy cleanup. He said the homes' condition were pretty depressing and the mold was rampant. But, they were able to uplift people's spirits and everywhere they went myriads of people thanked them for coming to help.

Their particular group slept in one of the local LDS church buildings. Here they are eating dinner and waiting for work to begin the next day.

Their work consisted primarily of bringing ruined belongings to the sidewalk for pickup and ripping out damaged drywall in an effort to inhibit the mold growth.
