Words and Deeds

This last week Asher started to say some new words/phrases:

When he heard a truck's engine outside: Turuh
Seeing a train in a book: Turaah (emphasis on the ae)
Seeing a school bus: Soool uh
Wanting to see something closer he says over there: O deh
Telling me he wanted up with a small tantrum I told him to say "up please" and he actually said "uh lee". Wow! That was a surprise!

He has also started doing some new things:

When holding a brush he wants to brush my hair and then we take turns and I brush his hair for a few seconds before he wants to brush my hair again.

When I let him down from the table and tell him he can go play he goes straight to the piano and wants to play it. I realized it's because I would tell him he was playing the piano when we sat at it and pounded on the keys.

Excitedly "asked" me to come outside (by pointing) and showed me he remembered what the sidewalk chalk was for by picking up a piece and making a few marks, looking up at me for commendation afterwards.

As all children should, he LOVES boxes
