After sleeping in until 8:00 am (2:00 am EST) we all headed to the Bern, Switzerland Temple to attend a session. Part of this was to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. It was odd using an English translator headset since the session was in German, but we enjoyed the experience.

I love the way they trim bushes and other shrubbery. See the swan?
After the temple we stopped at a German restaurant called [ ]. It was decent food... but boy do they like salt!
Back in Geneva we attended the Spanish branch's ward Christmas party. So much fun! Their pagent costumes and scenery were so creative and the food was delicious.

Oh, it was funny to me that Rob was asked to say the opening prayer for the evening's festivities because only about 5 to 10 percent of the people can speak or understand English. No matter what language people were speaking, no one seemed to care. The gospel and how it helps people cross normal cultural boundaries is great!
