Dad's gifts
Rob and I would like to thank my Dad for all of the cherry furniture he has made me and then later Rob and I over the years, including all the shown pieces in our bedroom. When my mom became allergic to formaldehyde (a glue found in most furnishings made today) he decided to invest more time, money, and effort into building solid-wood furniture since it is rather expensive to purchase. Since then he has made furniture for several of us children as gifts. This year Rob and I received the bedside tables, custom designed to match the bed.

I'm so jealous. I would love to have a bed post as beautiful as that.
Wow that is beautiful work! I'm going to send Dave to spend a few weeks with him and learn how to do that! When are we going to see you guys again?! I haven't seen you in forever. Just so you know Jen's blog address has been changed to theromafamily.blogspot.com. :)
